Autism may be difficult to diagnose and it can be confused with other neuropsychological conditions, such as Social Pragmatic Language Delays, Anorexia, Nonverbal Learning Disability and more.
Comprehensive assessments evaluate for co-occurring developmental differences and psychological diagnoses. Many cheap and quick testing sites only give tests for Autism but do not seek to rule-out any other explanations for presenting issues. Often people are told they do not have Autism but are given no explanation for the symptoms they experience.
